Established in 2006, Club Royal Oak rose from the ashes of Royal Oak Resort, formerly Royal Oak Park, that had gone out of business in 2004. The founding family invested their time, inheritance and savings to purchase the completely destroyed property, buildings, and infrastructure as a promise to their dying mother who had spent many summers there with family and friends. Over the next decade, more than $1.9 million in improvements to the buildings and infrastructure have been completed. The electrical and waste disposal systems were upgraded and expanded to include the 36 riverfront sites. We are the only RV Campground Resort in the U.S. who has full hookup riverfront sites with their own private beach!

The goal has always been to create a community feel and to provide second homes for many families.

Such a beautiful place! We have a large RV and trailer set up (75′) and can easily stay at this park without having to disconnect the trailer. Full hookups with a great price. The customer service is great and very helpful during both of our stays. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back to stay a 3rd time.

We had a fantastic time. The staff was nice when we checked in, the campsite is very clean and well-maintained. The owner introduced himself and answered our questions about the local area and the flooding. He also lent us two life vests for our granddaughters so they could swim.
